2016 Deborah's community garden in Destin

Carla Morgan shared her community garden beds with Deborah.  The beds were 4x12 and Deb used a special mix of soil called Mell's Mix, equal portions of vermiculite, peat moss, and a blend of five types of compost.  She incorporated square foot gardening and the results were spectacular!

Deb was heartbroken when Phil took a job in Birmingham since it meant having to give up her garden.
